Effective Delegation (10/11/2026)

Course Content 

The session will allow individuals to :-

• understand delegation and the importance of delegating tasks
• explore some myths associated to delegating tasks
• understand what is appropriate delegation
• understand how to delegate effectively

As a manager/leader it is important to delegate to ensure you free up your time, but allow the individuals asking on that work to grow.  So with this we will also think about:-

• playing to strengths and growing individual’s limitations
• why we need to delegate
• the impact it has on us and others if we don’t learn to do it
• a focus on appropriate delegation – relinquishing accountability
• what delegation should look like
