The qualification is ideal for individuals who have management responsibilities, but no formal training and are serious about developing their abilities.
It will support practising team leaders seeking to move up to the next level of management, and managers who need to lead people through organisational change, budget cuts or other pressures.
This qualification is designed for team leaders, supervisors, and managers and those seeking to learn new skills in development management processes and procedures and the leadership theory behind it.
The itinerary (downloadable) shows how the qualification is put together and will be deployed throughout the year. Most sessions will be classroom based and followed up with online learning.
The programme is made up with nine workshop sessions spread out over a 12-month period. Six assignments are required to complete the ATHE qualification so a minimum of one day a month is required for assessment to take place.
